Course Outline Economics 12 is a course in national and international economics and is an extension of Economics 11. It provides a deeper study of selected economics issues as well as consideration of certain theories. The unit on microeconomics considers such topics as demand and supply, product differentiation, production, and markets. Macroeconomics considers national accounts; economic indicators and government policy; money, banking, and finance; and economic growth. There are also three optional units: History of Economic Ideas; International Economy; and Comparative Economics.
